Signs readings
The body offers signs that may be read to understand present and/or past events. There are both evident pathological signs and little, less known signs.
They are usually directly observable and may be:
Prognostic, if indicate the current status of the feet-body;
Anamnestic, if hel in understanding the past events;
Diagnostic, when lead to the recognition of a specific problem.
Several different medical specialists may be required to help and cure.

Feet physiognomy
So as every phisician has to be able to recognize a diabetic foot or other pathologies by dimensions, colour, form anomalies, etc., in the same way a professional reflexologist ought to be able to "read" (in a semeiotic meaning) the feet. Semeiotic is useful for a better understanding about what may be the causes of the problem and what is the actual health situation. Anthropologists (expecially those working in forensic consulting) observing every part of the human body may argue several aspects of the person, including life and work events.
There are local situations in which it is better to avoid any local foot reflexological treatment.
