The Counsellor and Clinical Reflexologist

Prof. Dr. Antonio Virgili, counsellor, researcher in neurosciences, neurosociology and psychology, his main studies have been at the State Universities of Napoli, Roma, Firenze so as, among the others, at the Regional Insitute for Health Education (Italy), National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine (USA), British School of Yoga (UK), Open International University of Complementary Medicines (India), Baylor College of Medicine (USA). Among the others, he has a Medicine Doctor in Alternative Medicine Degree, a Magistralis Degree in Sociology m.cum laude, a Degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, a Magistralis Degree in Psychology m.cum laude, and he is perfectioned in Psychotechnology and in Social Psychiatry (at the Faculty of Medicine). Has given lessons in several fields (Social Demography, Social Psychology, Social and Holistic Medicine, Reflexology, etc.) so as training seminars in health, human sciences, reflexology; he is also Professor of Social Sexology at UNISED, is teaching Reflexology at Salus Mater Academy, and is a Counsellor of Psychosomatic wellness. Has published many articles and books. He has been Panel Chairman of the ICIM Advisory Panel on Anthropology and History of Integrative Medicine. As a researcher and clinical reflexologists his main areas of interest are: applied neurosciences, stress and anxiety disorders, clinical reflexology as a support in several health and psychosomatic situations, reproductive health, sexology, acupressure and some integrative techniques, PTSD, neurofeedback, socio psycho neuro endocrino immunology (sopnei).

Dr. Virgili is a Member of several scientific and professional organizations, among them: The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, British Holistic Medical
Association, Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, American Psychosomatic Society,
International Hypnosys Federation, AoR - Association of Reflexologists.
